Salvation Verses

May the truths of the gospel be in our hearts and may we often speak of them with our children.

Here’s a list of verses on which you could meditate if you like.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16

There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12

They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

Acts16:31

[F]or all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

Come now, and let’s reason together,” says Yahweh:

“Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.

Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:18

But he was pierced for our transgressions.

He was crushed for our iniquities.

The punishment that brought our peace was on him;

and by his wounds we are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray.

Everyone has turned to his own way;

and Yahweh has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,”

Galatians 3:13

For you are all children of God, through faith in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 3:26

[T]hat if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
